Enjoy Pelican feeding on the beach next to the San Remo pier, around 20 minutes drive from Cowes Foreshore Tourist Park. Every day at 12 noon, local Pelicans arrive at the pier for their daily serve of fish.

Pelican feeding has been a daily occurrence at San Remo for many years. Crowds gather to witness pelicans waddle up the shore to get their lunch and visitors are able to get up and close. Kids delight in the experience of being able to feed the pelicans a fish.

You’ll find hundreds of gulls hovering around as they flock to the jetty to try and get in on the feed. There’s also a family of giant stingrays that live under the jetty and you may see them pop up to the surface as they search for scraps.

Near to the pelican feeding area, there’s a playground and BBQ area where many people stop for lunch. It’s a lovely spot to enjoy fish and chips by the foreshore while the kids play.
